David Cole – Director

David graduated from Aberystwyth in 2009 with a History degree and immediately studied law as a conversion course. He then studied the LPC in Cardiff Law School gaining distinction honours. He joined this company as a trainee solicitor in August 2012 and became a Director of the firm in August 2014. David specialises in Conveyancing, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Asset Preservation. He particularly enjoys Probate and Administration of the estates following bereavement, and Contentious Probate claims. He is also the Steward of the long standing tradition, the Barony of Cemaes, Newport and has had this role in supporting the Lord Marcher, Aldermen and Burgesses of the Newport area since August 2014. David leads the Court Leet 4 times a year.

He is a fluent Welsh speaker, born and raised in the Cardiganshire area. He has two sons. Away from the office David is a very keen triathlete and spends all of his spare time on his bike, running and swimming. He has completed 9 Ironman events and also competed in two Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii and in Nice, France. He has done Ironman Wales 4 times as well as representing Great Britain in the European Duathlon Championships in Spain and Germany. He also represented Wales U20 in middle distance athletics and has completed numerous marathons.
